  • Thank you for choosing Whitehead's Landscaping and Snow Removal for your snow removal needs this winter. Please read the following contract, answer the questions based on your needs, provide us your location, billing address, and click to sign.
  • Whitehead’s Landscaping and Snow Removal will exercise its best judgment based upon weather forecasts and existing conditions at the time. Customer is aware that weather conditions in the Wood River Valley change rapidly and without notice. Changes in weather conditions are considered “Acts of Nature” and Whitehead’s Landscaping assumes no liability for “Acts of Nature”. Customer agrees to allow Whitehead’s Landscaping and Snow Removal to decide if snow plowing is warranted based upon snow accumulations. Customer understands that snow accumulations may vary throughout the Wood River Valley. Customer also understands that drifting of snow may necessitate plowing of their location. Slush does warrant plowing of property. Accounts past due will not be plowed until the account is brought up to date. Customer understands and accepts the fact that delays in payment made to Whitehead’s Landscaping and Snow Removal may result in appropriate legal action, including without limitation lawyer fees, costs, and expenses of suit, may be passed on to the customer. Contract shall be binding inure to the benefit of the parties and their heirs, executors, administrators, and assign. Customer understands that plowing (or sanding) of a location may not clear the area to “bare pavement” and that slippery conditions may continue to prevail even after plowing (or application of sand/ice melt). Customer understands that Whitehead’s Landscaping assumes no liability for this naturally occurring condition. Customer agrees to defend and hold harmless Whitehead’s Landscaping for any trespasses or suits that may arise as a result of this naturally occurring condition.
  • Snow Staking: Snow Staking your property is optional. Our drivers find it necessary to prevent damage from snow plow blades to your yard, walkway, walls, mailboxes, etc. Whitehead’s Landscaping strongly encourages snow staking of your property. It is extremely difficult for snow plow truck drivers to determine where shrubs, garden beds, and other landscape obstacles are after a heavy snowfall. Staking your property insures that those areas of concern are to be avoided by the snowplow blades. If you choose not to stake your property, Whitehead’s Landscaping will NOT have the responsibility for damage that might occur. Whitehead’s Landscaping cannot stake properties after the first snowfall.
Snow Plowing will commence after 3 inches of snow has fallen. Please note on your contract if you would like your property to be plowed if LESS than 3” have fallen.
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. There will be an extra charge for plowing on Holidays.
  • Loader and Snow Blower Use: As the winter season progresses and we have received a considerable amount of snow, a loader might be necessary to push back piles and/or remove snow for future snow storms. The decision for loader use will be determined by our Snow Removal Supervisor. The minimum charge for loader use is $80.00. The Weather is so unpredictable in the Wood River Valley; please understand Whitehead’s Landscaping and Snow Removal cannot guarantee notification before loader use. Signing this snow removal contract gives Whitehead’s Landscaping authorization for loader use at their best discretion.
  • Parked Vehicles: Whitehead’s Landscaping and Snow Removal’s truck drivers will make every attempt to wait for owners to move their vehicles out of the way before they plow. Our drivers are instructed to beep their horns and wait a few minutes for owners to move their vehicle. Unfortunately, snow removal by our company occurs throughout the very early morning hours. Drivers are instructed to plow what they can access and move on. Please understand we will do our best to wait for a parked car to be moved. Drivers are instructed to return several times during the day to ensure proper snow removal of your property.
