Service Application
Our organic compost tea tree and lawn program includes monthly applications starting in April to encourage early stimulation and root growth, then again in June and August and a final application in October to put trees to rest with the nutrients they need for the winter.
Year-Round Soil Health
- Stronger, Healthier Roots
- Improved Soil Health
- Natural Disease & Pest Resistance
Application Schedule
April/May
In the spring, we start the inoculation process by injecting mycorrhizal fungi and compost tea into the root zone. This provides a boost of known plant-beneficial organisms and humic acids which gives the trees and soil the nutrients they need for early success.
June & August
In the summer we complete two treatments to maintain proper root zone microbial health. We add molasses to the brew and this phase is known as the “nutrient loading phase.” Molasses is high in calcium, magnesium, iron, and potassium. It also contains sulfur and a host of micronutrients. Using molasses as a fertilizer provides trees with a quick source of energy and encourages the growth of beneficial microorganisms.
September/ October
In the fall we repeat the spring treatment. This puts the trees to bed with sufficient nutrients for the winter and in the early spring before we apply again. This is the fourth and final application of our program.
The end product is not only a boost for the tree at the time of application but is healthier for the living soil and is going to improve the immune system of the trees year-round.
